Country Manager – Consumer Insight, Market Intelligence & Consumer Relations - Stockholm
Assignment:
The country manager’s assignment covers five areas:
• Market Intelligence: To have a macro view on where to focus growth.
• Consumer Insight: Clear description and understanding of consumer segments and their needs, including tools for the organization to use.
• Requirement design: Excellent, functional design criteria that meet consumer needs and optimizes efficiency and product offering for the organization.
• Effective ongoing operations and relationship within the organization.
• World-class customer care
Responsibilities:
• To manage budget and staff within the Consumer Insight, Market Intelligence and Customer Relations organization
• To be a contributing factor in the development of consumer insight and requirement design, with the aim of becoming a state of the art organization. Contribution in the form of introducing innovative ways of thinking and implementing new ideas and strategies.
• To effectively utilize tools, methods, processes and facts in order to analyze the market and collected data.
• Forecasting by means of analyzing market data. Thus being able to provide answers to “where”, “what” and “how” the company shall build.
• To establish high-quality relationships and work procedures towards regions as well as internal strategic, tactical and operational levels.
Experience:
• To be successful in this role, the country manager is expected to have experience of leadership in strategic levels, within “Business-to-Consumer” areas. It is therefore important to possess a professional knowledge and understanding of how consumer based markets function, both customers and products, along with the ability to understand the complexity of handling regional and national demands.
• It is important that you have experience from working in a changing environment and have led the implementation of new ways to work and operate an organization.
• The country manager is also expected to have thorough experience of market intelligence in strategic levels within “Business-to-Consumer” areas.
• The person we are looking for has experience of requirement design and a sound knowledge of consumer insight.
• You are able to handle and analyze complex and large amounts of data in order to give input to how the organization should proceed.
• Since the role includes collaboration within the Nordic countries, it is important to have an understanding of cultural issues (primarily Nordic) and the need for trans-country integration.

• You are humble and have a strong driving force and are motivated to work for the better good of the organization as a whole.
• It is important that you are driven by fact-based knowledge and have an ambition to operate an organization on these grounds.
• We also believe that the country manager is a person/leader with good judgement and an open mindset.
• The country manager is expected to work strategically and with an analytic mindset. You have the capacity to leverage the full power of the business unit and a strong ambition and drive to be number one. The ability to question constructively is essential.
• The country manager is also expected to be aware of his/her strengths and weaknesses and is able to adjust personal/leader style and communication according to person and situation. You are open to develop your own personal/leadership skills through feedback.
• We also expect you to have the leadership potential to take on positions in other contexts within the corporation in the future.
Education:
We expect you to have a university degree in a relevant field of expertise and a minimum 5 years of earlier experience in strategic work within market intelligence and requirement design.
Language:
Fluency in Swedish and English is essential
